AIAA 2008 To Be Staged in May
Various Art & Cultural Events Kick Off
Hong Kong art and antiques market experiences significant growth over the years. Thanks to the commitment and contribution of many art and antique experts from around the world, Asia International Arts & Antiques Fair (AIAA) undoubtedly leaves its mark as an important milestone in Hong Kong's art history. The great successes of the past two exhibitions will be the important foundation for the success of AIAA 2008.

In addition, the organizer has organized various events in order to promote the art and cultural development.
Chinese Ceramics Pavilion
It is organized by Chinese Ceramic Art Culture Development Center and is supported by Chinese Culture Promotion Society. In November 2007, the experts team visited seven China cities, including Jingdezhen, Fo Shan, which are famous for ceramic craftsmanship. The team has selected dozens of ceramic antique masterpieces for showcasing in AIAA 2008.

Olympics Imagination Art Contest
With the forthcoming 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, you are encouraged to use your creativity and embody the themes and values central to the Olympic Games to create an artwork. "Olympics Imagination Art Contest" is open to public. The Judging Committee is composed of experts from the Asia Int'l Contemporary Arts Promotion Association and Shanghai Artist Association. The artworks will be exhibited at the AIAA 2008. The finals and the Award Presentation Ceremony will be held at AIAA on May 23, 2008. For details, please visit www.aicacia.org

Asia Int'l Contemporary Arts Pavilion
The Pavilion is organized by Asia Int'l Contemporary Arts Promotion Association Limited and Baser Arts Center, aiming to promote contemporary art and modern art.
China Ministry of Culture Marketing Center Pavilion
'China Ministry of Culture Marketing Center Pavilion' is the Government Authority linked and interactive with 'Asia International Contemporary Arts Promotion Association', to promote Arts & Culture, Collection & Investment of Artworks, as well as to perform the International Arts Communication.
Poly Contemporary Arts Pavilion
This is a review of the achievements of overseas Chinese artists of the century. Beijing Poly International Auction Co., Ltd. will display a number of renowned Chinese artists' paintings.
Hetian Jade Pavilion
In recent years, the prices of Hetian Jade have soared. Hetian Jade has become a hot investment item other than property, stocks, gold, calligraphy and paintings. The Hetian Jade Pavilion is set up so as to provide a platform for the collectors to display their collections. Exhibits include Hetian Jade accessories and decoration.
Private Collections Corner
A number of veteran collectors of arts and antique have agreed to display their precious collections.

Mainland China & Overseas Buyers to visit AIAA
The organizer sponsors related Chinese and overseas organizations to visit AIAA, so as to attract more Chinese and overseas buyers. A number of organizations have already submitted their applications.
Sponsors China Provincial Museums Curators Conference
The organizer and Fudan University, Shanghai jointly organize 'China Provincial Museums Curators Conference', which aims at enhancing cultural exchange of Mainland China and Hong Kong, as well as enhancing foreign collectors' understanding of Chinese museums.
GCCGA as Beneficiary Organization
Greater China Culture Global Association (GCCGA) is committed to promoting Chinese culture. The association organizes various Chinese cultural activities, aiming to enhance overseas Chinese's understanding of traditional Chinese culture, to strengthen the cultural connection among Chinese and to promote Chinese culture to foreigners.
