| Porcelain of Jingdezhen |
| Jingdezhen is known as the 'Porcelain City of the Millennium' and its porcelain is as white as jade, as shiny as mirror, as thin as paper and sounds as crispy as chime stone. Jingdezhen produces a large variety of porcelain wares and decorations ranging from blue and white wares, fancai wares, glazed wares to sculptured wares, among them the blue and white wares are the most popular.
Despite the plain colour, blue and white wares are so pretty that they are widely treasured by collectors. They are lead-free and safe, acid-resisting and wear-resisting. With long-lasting appearance and colour, blue and white wares are named “works of art that never fade”. Jingdezhen’s porcelain has been frequently awarded in the world. |
