AIAA 2010 Unveiled On May 21
3-day Show Becomes Major Art & Antique Trading Platform

The 5th Asia International Arts & Antiques Fair (AIAA 2010), an annual big event of the art & antique circle, is unveiled on May 21. Since 2006, the fair has already become a major art and antique trading platform. This year, the fair gathers a hundred of exhibitors from around the world, with 200 booths showcasing ceramics, Buddha statutes, bronze wares, aloeswood, antique furniture, jade, calligraphy, oil paintings, glassware, sculptures, clocks & watches, decorative arts and many more.

Being a well-developed exhibition in terms of its scale and market positioning, AIAA 2010 will feature more genres of contemporary art, including modern ceramics (Jingdezhen Porcelain & Hanguang China), 2008 Harmonious China Saluting Olympic Games - National Competition of Fine Arts and Calligraphy Prime Works Collection (208 art pieces), artworks from Korean galleries, Yixing ceramic teapots, Belgium International Culture & Art, Shengmang - works of art by Chinese up and coming artists, Yuhua stones, Zhenhu embroidery, porcelain contemporary arts by Francis Cheung.

In addition, the "Wisdom of I-Ching and Art Collecting" Seminars are organized concurrently to introduce the influence of I-Ching upon Chinese culture, philosophy and aesthetics over the five thousand years and how it affects the aesthetic tastes and artistic styles of Orientals. Mr. Shum Yat Fei and Mr. Su Bo Cheng, masters of I-Ching from Hong Kong and Mainland China respectively, are invited to deliver the seminars.

As for the China buyer groups, over ten coaches have been arranged for picking up about 400 buyers from Guangdong Province, while another 100 buyers will come from Shanghai, Jingdezhen of Jiangxi, Nanjing, Suzhou and Beijing.

Highlights of AIAA2010 include:
Antique: Antique - Chinese ceramics, jade, Buddha statues, aloeswood, carpets, ornaments, sculptures.
Contemporary Art: Korean Galleries, Jingdezhen porcelain, Hanguang China, Yixing ceramic teapot, Belgium International Culture & Art, Shengmang - works of art by Chinese up and coming artists, Yuhua stone, Zhenhu embroidery, Porcelain Contemporary Arts by Francis Cheung.
Private Collection Pavilion: 2008 Harmonious China Saluting Olympic Games - National Competition of Fine Arts and Calligraphy Prime Works Collection; jade sculptures of Qing dynasty, calligraphy, oil paintings.
